Guild member cheesemakers and allied food businesses gather for this outdoor rain or shine event, showcasing Maine’s rich cheesemaking tradition. Meet the cheesemakers, buy cheese, learn  about but cheesemaking in Maine.

Open Creamery Day, Sunday, October 13, 2024, statewide.  Maine Cheese Guild members open their farms and creameries to the public each October on the Sunday of Indigenous People’s Day. This is an opportunity to stock up on cheese, meet the cheesemakers and their dairy animals and take in gorgeous fall foliage. Learn more here.
