President Note

Happy Winter! Can’t complain about the weather so far.
Our next meeting will be at Deb Hahn’s in Phippsburg. Please bring a bag lunch and cheese to share. It has been suggested that we use this meeting to put together a group order to Fromagex for wrapping paper, and perhaps some other supplies.

Greetings!

Even though it doesn’t look like it outside, in my barn it is spring. New kids are hopping around like fleas, and the milk is flowing. Itπs good to get my hands back in the curds again!

We are looking forward to the Margaret Morris workshop coming up on the 18/19 of March, at State of Maine Cheese Co. in Rockport. The class is full, but please check in with us as there may be last minute cancellations.

We are also looking forward to Agricluture Day at the Legislature on the 22nd.

If there are kids and lambs, can flowers be far behind?

President Note

Season’s Greetings!
The Guild’s annual Christmas gathering will be held on Monday, Dec. 12, 12-4 at Heidi Klingelhofer’s house in Georgetown. Please bring a potluck item (and cheese!) to share, as well as photos of any cheese trips you may have made over the past year. We had a very productive annual meeting at State of Maine Cheese Co. on Nov.7, with the result of a new directive and focus for 2006. Networking, infomation exchange, education are some of our goals.

When doing your holiday shopping, remember Maine cheese makes a wonderful gift.
