President Note
We had a great meeting at my farm this week. I’m glad so many people could make it! Be sure to go online to the state web site http://janus.state.me.us/legis/LawMakerWeb/search.asp and check on the progress of LD 1426, the proposed changes to the milk rules. Let me or Shelley Doak know your thoughts. The hearing is Monday, April 11.
President Note
What a busy week!
Itπs been a busy week at the Cheese Guild. Margaret Morris led a two-day workshop to a full house last week, and left us all juiced for a new season of cheesemaking and wanting more. We have invited her back next year! On Tuesday, Cathe and I went to Augusta for Agriculture Day, and handed out cheese samples to our legislators (and a few lobbyists as well!). Everyone admires our beautiful display. Hope to see you at the next meeting on April 4 at my farm!
