Celebrate Maine Cheese and Cheesemakers with the Maine Cheese Guild at the annual Cheese Festival. Highlighting the 2021 Festival is the inaugural Maine Cheese Awards. This family-friendly event is sure to delight everyone! Come for the music, food trucks, adorable goats, and of course, come for the Maine cheese!

When: Sunday, September 12th, 2021

Maine Cheese Guild at Common Ground Fair

Maine Cheese Guild members will be chatting up the visitors at the Common Ground Country Fair again this year from September 20th through 22nd. Stop by their booth in the Agricultural Products section and taste and talk Maine cheese and cheesemaking.

The Guild is also offering a demo–Cheesemaking in the Home Kitchen in the Country Kitchen Demo area on Sunday, September 22, 10 to 11:30 am. Learn to make some simple cheeses in your home kitchen using raw milk and simple recipes. Learn about the science, and witness the magic of the transformation of milk into cheese!
